The Restore Dialog allows you to restore a previously created backup.
The LA restore function will only work on compressed or tar based backup files.
You can restore to a existing database by selecting the clean option to drop all pre existing objects.
To restore to another server on any platform Postgresql runs on you must first create a blank database using
template1 or template0. Template0 is recommended because it will be a pristine blank database where as template1 may contain
user added objects.
