Advantages of using C#:
1. Would use npgsql as the client library.
2. Full Unicode right off the bat.
3. Compatibility with Mono's winform implementation is possible and that would give Linux and Mac OSX right off the bat.
4.The stock datagridview is actually really nice, hence no need for Developer Express tools.
Disadvantages:
Slightly less per formant in the GUI compared to Delphi
Not as many third party editors available Synedit is hard to beat.
